Questionnaire - Is Your Friend a Friend Worth Having?
By Stephen Bucaro
Few things are as rewarding and good for your psyche as a friend. A friend can encourage
you and build you up. But having a friend means being a friend, and being a friend takes
some work. Just as your friend has to make allowances for your imperfections and
idiosyncrasies, so you have to make allowances for their imperfections and idiosyncrasies.
But sometimes a friend has too many faults and even though you might approach your friend
in a humorous and uninsulting way about the things you don't like, people rarely make
permanent changes to their personality. Sometimes, when a bad friendship is bringing you
down, it's better to have no friend at all.
Truthfully answer the questions in this short questionnaire and you'll learn if your friend
is a friend worth having, or if it's a friendship worth working on while at the same time
looking for someone who is more in tune with your values, or if you should dump this person
immediately so you can start moving your life in the direction of success and happiness.
