How to Make a Poinsettia Pop Up Card

Poinsettia with festive red flowers
After the Christmas tree, the poinsettia is the plant that most symbolizes the Christmas holiday season.
Poinsettias are a popular Christmas tradition for both holiday decorating and as a gift. But without
proper sunlight, watering, and care, the plants quickly loose their festive red flowers and wilt away.
But a Poinsettia pop up card will last long after the holiday season.

1. Right-click on the image above and in the popup menu that appears select Save Image As...
Then in the Save dialog box, navigate to a folder where you want to save the template.
Then print the full size image on a heavy paper, like card stock or construction paper.

2. Similarly, save the template above to your computer and print the full size image on a heavy paper.

3. Use a ruler as a guide to press the rounded end of a paper clip (or a ballpoint pen that has
run out of ink) along the dotted line on the center of the card. Once again use a ruler as a guide
to press the rounded end of a paper clip along the dotted lines of all the pop-up pieces.
