Lastly make sure that your appearance is appropriate for the industry, position and setting. It is always best to project an air of confidence and pride. Act as though you want and deserve that job - not as though you are desperate and will take anything and any position.
Next demonstrate genuine enthusiasm. An applicant's level of enthusiasm often influences the employer as much as another interviewing factor. The applicant who demonstrates little enthusiasm for a job will never ever be selected for the position.
It is always best to demonstrate knowledge and interest in the employer. Saying that "I really want this job" is not convincing enough. Lastly always perform at your best each and every moment. There is no such thing as a pause or a "time out" during an interview. Even in the waiting room treat the assistant, receptionist and each and every employee that you encounter politely, with deference, respect and courtesy.
