Career as Land Surveyor

Land surveying is a profession and science determining three dimension positions of point, angles and distance between lands. It is usually used in establishing boundaries, maps and defining legal boundaries of land ownership.

Land surveyors work in the office as well as in the field. In the field work, they use the latest technology such as Robotic Total Stations, high order GPS and terrestrial and aerial scanners to map an area, making calculations and taking photos as affirmation. Assumes legal responsibility for work and should be licensed by state.
Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds.
