Free Disk Space Analyzer : SpaceMonger

With broad-band Internet access and a penchant for downloading music and video files,
your hard disk can fill up quickly. Is your hard disk filling up, but you don't know
what's hogging all the space. The FREEWARE program SpaceMonger from
Werkema.com gives you a graphical representation of
your hard disks contents. It displays files and folders as boxes, with sizes relative
to space taken on disk.
After you download the 103 KB file spnm140.zip, create a new folder under "Program Files"
named "SpaceMonger". Move the ziped archive into that folder and extract it there. This
will create the files "readme.txt" and "SpaceMonger.exe". SpaceMonger.exe is the complete
program, no installation is required, just double-click on the file name to execute.
SpaceMonger does not come with a help file, and SpaceMonger is such an incredibly easy
program to use that one is not needed. Select "Open" SpaceMonger's menu and a dialog box
appears displaying icons for your computers drives. Select a drive, for example
"Local Disk (C:)" and click on the [OK] button. SpaceMonger takes an inventory of the
disk and displays the files and folders as boxes proportional in size to the space they
take up on the drive.
Click on a folder's box to select it, then select "Zoom In" in SpaceMonger's menu. This
will show you the relative sizes of the folders and files within that folder. select
"Zoom Out" in SpaceMonger's menu to return to the full view of the disks contents.
Select "Setup" in SpaceMonger's menu to configure the file lay out, display colors,
tooltips delay and other features of the program.

SpaceMonger's readme.txt: SpaceMonger is freeware, not crippled or time-limited in any way.
You can distribute it any way you like. You can even sell it, but the latest copy will
always be available for free download at SpaceMonger's web page, so you probably won't
be able to get much money for it. We encourage users of the program to give away copies
to their friends.
