How to Draw a Snake

Draw a Snake Final

Snakes are usually representative of evil or trickery, but they can also be quite harmless. Draw your very own snake using these easy steps!

Draw a Snake Step 1

Draw two evenly sized, overlapping ovals. They should be somewhat thin, horizontal, and connected at the edges by a curved line.

Draw a Snake Step 2

Draw two or three more ovals above the first set. Each one should be smaller compared to the oval underneath it, creating a shape like that of a wedding cake. This shape effectively represents the coiled-up body.

Draw a Snake Step 3

Draw a curved rectangle a bit off the side. Draw an oval above that, connected to the body shape by the rectangle.
