Five Ways to Make Quick Money With Craigslist

When most people think of Craigslist, they think of the free Internet Classified site where they can go and find things they need at a discount price. However, few people actually use Craigslist to make money. These five tips will show you how to use Craigslist to make money quick, right from your Kitchen table.

1. Free Stuff - Every Craigslist has a Free section where people give away stuff the don't want for free. Most of the time, they'll put it on the curb and put a listing up in the free section saying whoever gets there first can have it. I've picked up this free stuff and turned around and relisted it on Craigslist and sold it for a good bit of change. I've also took it home and listed it on eBay. This is some of the easiest and quickest money you'll make!

2. Services - There's also a section where you can list your services for hire. I have a friend who writes part time. Her only advertising is in the Service sections of Craigslist in major cities. She has built a list of Clients that provide here steady income that allows her to work from home and still make a comfortable living. You'll also find Attorney's, Real Estate Agents and others advertising their services there.

3. For Sale - The For Sale section of Craigslist is where you can post listings of anything you might have to sell (like some free stuff you just picked up). People watch these listings throughout the day for bargains. Gather up stuff around your home you don't want and post a listing in a category that best fits its description. This is quicker than eBay and there is no listing fee.

4. Small Biz Ads - Normally Craigslist doesn't allow affiliate ads to be placed in their classifieds. However, they are lenient when it comes to the Small Biz Ads section under the Services category. Here you can post most things related to work at home job opportunities and even some of your affiliate links if you have them. Just make the post informative, not spammy.

5. Become a Drop Off Consignment Center - Let's face it. Today's economy has many people looking for a few extra bucks. You can be the drop off center where people drop off their unwanted items and you'll list them for sale on Craigslist, for a small fee of course. This has big advantages of the the eBay drop off centers. For one, there's no listing or selling fee!

These are just a few ways you can make money with Craigslist. Just be creative and think outside the box. Many people are making a good living from Craigslist. You can work as little or as much as you want!
