Make Money With Your Own YouTube Videos

YouTube

By posting videos on YouTube and configuring your channel to enable monetization, you can make money each time someone watches your videos. To generate more views and make more money, you can promote your videos on social sites. But the first thing you'll need to do is create a video that people want to watch.

The hottest topics on YouTube include cutesy videos of pets and babies. Also popular are how-to videos on topics such as cooking. Of course, if you're a pretty young girl, sex talk videos are also big on YouTube, as long as you can do them tastefully. And any video that is so weird that people think you must be crazy will also draw lots of viewers.

When your first video is ready, sign up for a free account at YouTube. Go to account settings and click "Create a New Channel" and give your channel a name that will identify your topic. Then add some artwork and a description that makes your channel more interesting.

When recording your videos, make sure you do it in a place with good lighting and no noise interference from other areas. Avoid zooming and moving the camera around too much because this just confuses people and make make them nauseated. Once you have a completed video, add it to your channel by clicking the "Upload" button. The best file format for YouTube is MP4, however YouTube accepts many other video formats such as MOV, FLV, and AVI.

To monetize your YouTube channel, go to google.com/adsense/start and open a free account. Then in your YouTube channel settings, on the Monitization tab, click "Enable My Account". Follow the prompts to complete the setup. Google will place ads with your videos, and will pay you once your earnings reach the $100 minimum.

To make more money you'll need to generate more views, and the best way to do that is to post links to your videos on social sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The highest paid YouTube video creator ever is 29-year-old Michelle Phan who made $50 million posting videos about how to do makeup.
