great place to start as it is an easy product to create and cost effective to sell.

An Affiliate Product
An affiliate product is product that is created by another marketer that you can sell
and get paid commission on the sale. This is also a great place to begin as the product
and all the marketing material is already done for you. Your task here is to sell it to
the customer using different marketing techniques.
Membership sites
A membership site is a site where people register on your site, pay a fee sometimes
weekly/monthly and you give them specific information or products on an ongoing and
regular basis. This is a slightly more advanced strategy and you need to really know your
stuff here. This is very good for a very targeted audience i.e. Photography membership
site, car lovers membership site, etc. This is a great strategy and can have great
financial rewards when done well.
A Newsletter
A newsletter may or may not be a membership site though it is generally a fee paying
site. Here cutting edge information is delivered to the customers in the chosen niche. A
newsletter will often be used to sell affiliate products that have been reviewed by the
promoter or a number of online marketers may share newsletters and market to each others
list in order to get new customers. This like a membership site required new content on an
ongoing basis.
A Home study program
This is where you provide learning material to your database of customers on a once off
or regular basis, bar in mind that supplying training on an ongoing basis is a great way
of building trust between yourself and your customer, of course it must be valuable and
relevant information. You really need to know your topic well and set clear criteria and
outcomes for your programme and may choose to offer a certificate at the end of a training period.
Many online marketers use a combination of one or all of the above. Be sure to perfect
one system first and then add to your portfolio of strategies as this will allow you to
become more successful over time.
