options and opportunities and it is very easy to suffer from information overload, however
having a successful home based internet business involves nine simple steps.
It does not matter which plan you are using, as long as you keep the following nine
rules in mind, you will be successful in your venture.
Step 1 - Identify a hungry niche market First.
The reason that most new home based internet businesses fail is because people make the
mistake of locating a "hot product" first, then they try to find a market to sell
there product to.
Most people do not go online to buy something; they go online looking for information

To identify your niche market will require you to do a little research, you need to
establish what words people are using on the internet to look for a particular product or
to solve a specific problem.
By doing some simple keyword search research, use tools like,

There are loads of free programs that you can use on the internet that will help you
identify words that people use on the Internet while searching for something.
Enter these words in Google in quotation marks and see how many pages are listed, play
around with various words and use long-tailed-keywords, instead of using terms like
"Internet Business", try words like "How to make money with a Internet Business".
Step 2 - Locate a Product that Your Niche wants.
Once you have identified your hungry niche market, now it is time to find a product
that they are desperately looking for, keep in mind, people are using the Internet to look
for information and you need to provide this information on your home based internet
business website.
Various products that you can promote are,
• Create your own product, like a recipe book, or write a report on a skill
you have that will help people.
• Promote a product as an affiliate.
• Get a PLR, product that you can rename and sell as your own product.
