Blogging Your Way to an Online Income by David Walker

Blogging is growing in every way every day! Originally a blog was a simple one page web design that enabled people to set up an internet presence in minutes, which was predominantly used for personal "journal- like" entries, and maybe some photos and other things.

However blogging is now much bigger than that, and with platforms like "Blogger" and "WordPress" coming up with new styles, themes, and various plugins to make your blog stand out, more people are choosing this format as opposed to establishing static HTML sites.

Monetizing (creating revenue) your blog is a massive concept and one that virtually everyone tries to undertake, particularly with things like Google AdSense. Did you ever stop and think about the possibilities of earning even $10 a week from your blog?

Would this make any difference to your bank balance? Well you may be saying, "Probably not", but I would like to put forward a simple notion for converting that $10 per week into $1000 per week! Is this figure more interesting to you?

Let's say you have a blog and your intention is to make money. You are set on blogging your way to an online income, and your current blog is earning you $10 per week. This may be from a mix of AdSense revenue, and small ads that people have paid to place on your blog.

Whatever it may be, let's say the total weekly revenue is $10. You are probably thinking that in order to earn 100 times that much, you need to be selling 100 times more ad spaces, or doing 100 times more AdSense clicks, etc. Not so!

Think about how long it took you to build the blog that is earning you $10 per week, and the small amount of work that was required to be earning $10 per week. Now that you have that vision in your head, think about duplicating it!

Duplicate it over and over with new niches, or use the same niche with a different site design, but the result is the same. Instead of having one site with $10 revenue per week, you now have potential to have 100 sites all making $10 per week!

Even if it took you say, 10 hours to design, build and monetize your first site, you now have more experience than you did then. It may now take you just 6 hours to repeat that process. 99 sites at 6 hours each, equals 594 hours.

Sure you may need some new domain names, and extra hosting, but this is going to be reimbursed of course, when you start generating that $10 per week for each new site. 594 hours of labor, divided by 5 hours a day and 7 days a week, means that your project to earn $1000 a week could realistically be completed within 17 weeks.

Also remember that your first site is probably going to be earning more than $10 per week by this time if you keep promoting it and driving traffic to it, so again, your $1000 per week could be substantially more than this, at the end of the 17 weeks. This is a great way to start blogging your way to an online income.

Online advertising, such as Google AdSense is just ONE method you can use to make money from your blog but it is NOT the most effective! In fact, many of the professional bloggers who earn multiple six figure incomes from their blogs attribute just a small percentage of their overall income to on-site advertising! So, if the majority of their income does NOT come from advertising, then where DOES it come from?

I reveal the answer in my FREE eBook [stopsloggingstartblogging.com can't connect to the server] as well as many other secrets the six figure professional bloggers use to make huge sums of money from their blogs!
